MY HUMAN DESIGN STORY

EPISODE #1: My Human Design Story

In my first episode, I go over my journey into Human Design, moving from a corporate job where I was living a life out of alignment to living in pure alignment and starting my own business in Human Design.

I share bits about my battle with mental health, lessons along the way, and my wild manifestations.

I end with sharing about my Human Design and how I lean into each aspect of my bodygraph. I'm a 5/1 Sacral Generator.

I can't wait for you to listen! Thanks for being here! :)

EPISODE TRANSCRIPT

[00:00:03.940]

Welcome to my first episode of the Design of You podcast. I'm so excited to be sitting right here in my office and recording this podcast. It really does feel like so many manifestations are coming together at once. Just being in this office space that I have in my apartment and sitting down with this recording mic and just honestly getting to the place in my business where I feel like I want to introduce a new medium to connect with my community and just teach you guys a little bit more about human design and spirituality and all the amazing other things that I shared in the intro. I have been searching for a longer-form medium to connect with my community, and I never thought that a podcast was going to be something that I ended up doing.

[00:01:27.530]

But as I've been a guest on a few other podcasts, and those of you that know me know that I'm a big advocate for voice journaling, it is something that has taken over my world in the past few years. And so I feel like I've really started to use my voice. Actually, Working with my business coach back in the spring, shout out Erica Reitman. I had chatted with her about different mediums, and she was like, You have to do a podcast. And now having the ability to mentor people and all sorts of other interactions, people have been encouraging me. I'm so happy to be here. There has never been something that has felt so easy for me. I tend to have things in my business or in my life that feel so hard. We have those things that just never come easy. In a podcast, it's felt like I've had all the time in the world to work on it. I've been able to figure out ways to sit down and talk, and I have done on anything and everything to reframe my day around being able to sit here. I'm very excited to officially get this out into the world.

[00:02:40.320]

If you're listening, I hope you know that I love you so much, and I'm so thankful for you and your support it, whether you are a friend of mine, a client of mine, someone who has no idea who I am, someone who's just learning human design, or maybe you're my parents' friends, or an aunt, or a long distance cousin, or someone I went to high school with. I have No idea who would be listening to this, but I'm just so happy you're here, and thank you for supporting me and listening to my voice and my journey. I really wanted to start this first episode digging into my human design story. I am going to do an entire episode dedicated to learning about what human design is. But I want to just talk about my journey and how I got to where I am right now. And there's a lot of stories stories interweaved into this. And this is actually my second time recording myself talk about this because there's just so many layers to my journey, and I want to break them out into different episodes. So first off, I will want to explain what human design is for those of you that are new to it.

[00:03:47.920]

I know a lot of you are already very familiar. So human design is an empowerment system, and it's really the system that combines layers of a lot of other systems and modalities. So human design is a tool for high performance, and it allows us to tap into our energetic being, and it's all based on the time that we're born. So you can go to my website, thedesignofyou.com/get-your-chart, and that will take you to a place where you can enter your birth information and you can look up your human design chart. And that is your blueprint for who you were supposed to be in this lifetime. It is the art and science of what you were supposed to do, how you were supposed to energetically operate in the world, and how you're designed to bring the most aligned opportunities to your life. And it helps unveil our gifts and so many other amazing pieces of our makeup. It even goes as deep into digestion, how we can, quote, unquote, manifest. It talks about our cognition in our brain and all sorts of things. It's going to be a lot of fun. This is going to be a fun journey explaining everything to you guys and really walk you guys through my own design and how I got to this point.

[00:05:08.830]

So my human design journey really began several years ago before I even really tapped into human design. And I always joke that human design finds us in the most divine way at the divine time, and it just sweeps everyone off their feet once they get involved in their design. And so I In my car, I was listening to a podcast, and they were sharing about human design. And for those of you who know me really well, I have spent a great deal of my life and a great deal of time really dedicated to understanding myself. I have been this person that just is obsessed with self-help, and I have always been very much into astrology. I think everyone that knows has either purchased me an astrology book as a gift, some astrology trinket of some sort. I mean, you name it. I probably have something that says my astrology. And for those of you who are astronomy babes listening, I am a Scorpio Sun. I am a Cancer Rising and a Gemini Moon, but I am a Stellium. I'm a Sagisteria Stellium, and I'm also a Scorpio Stellium. So my chart is all over the place.

[00:06:30.750]

I actually really want to get another astrology reading sometime soon. It's been a while, and I would love to get someone to look at that. So if you're an astrologer and you're listening, send me a DM. I'd love to book with you. But anyway, so getting back on track. So I've just always been into self-help and self-care and just really understanding myself. And that's because I've always felt a little bit different. I can even look back on journals that I did when I was in the sixth or seventh grade of me feeling that I was just a little bit different. And in a very intuitive way, I don't mean different as in, I don't know, not like a weird... Well, I guess we're all weird kids, right? But it was just I always felt like there was something a little bit different about me. I remember being able to recall certain things. I remember being able to predict things a little bit. So I've always really been into searching for myself and who I was and what all these things meant. And when I heard about human design, I was like, Oh, what is this thing?

[00:07:30.120]

I'm listening to this podcast in 2018, and they're describing the system, and it was just super brand new to me. And I believe that I ended up looking up my chart right after. And like most people who look up their human design at this point, there wasn't a lot of content. So I was like, okay, I don't really know what to make of this thing, and so be it. I never really followed up, never really spent the time in the Googles, and it just never was the thing at that moment. A couple of years later, it's the pandemic, and a lot of people really tapped into different things that they're really good at. I think the pandemic is interesting because that year was such an incredible year for me. 2020 was a really good year, which I feel uncomfortable saying because I know it was a really hard year. So I do see everyone that's listening or honor everyone that did experience a lot of hardship. That year happened to be pretty good for me. Why it was is because I think for the first time I had space between the life that I was living that I was super unhappy in and then the place that I wanted to go, I was able to really reflect and sit with my desires.

[00:08:41.300]

And so during the pandemic, I think Probably the first week into it, I was somehow introduced back to human design. I honestly believe it was through Instagram or some social media. It came back to me. I decided that I was going to book a reading. I remember googling at that time and getting really excited about human design. Before my reading, I had a moment where I knew that it was something I wanted to do, and I actually experienced a week of insomnia. I tend to do that when I have really big ideas. I can't sleep, and now I know it's because I'm a generator. So when my ideas start to spin, I just get really excited and my engine revs, and that was happening to me. I got the Definitive Book of Human Design. I was reading it, and then I scheduled this reading. I remember I shared with the girl that did a reading with me that I was really interested in doing human design, and it was something I was intrigued by. And so she really walked me through the system in a very educational way. And it turns out we're both 5'1 generators.

[00:09:43.930]

So I think we just got each other. It was really cool. I felt completely in love, honestly. That's just it. Something about being a human design, my energy type being a generator, is that it's really important that we follow what excites.

[00:10:00.000]

This is what lights us up and really what feels satisfying. For me, it was just so exciting, and it lit me up that I just was ready to learn everything. I ended up texting my friends, and I was like, Hey, I'm into this thing called human design, and I need all of your guys's birth information. So my friends, they just know that's just something that I do anyway, and they sent me their birth info. I printed out all of my friends' charts. I really spent time digging into each person's chart with the Definitive Book of Human Design. And I realized it was a lot more complex than just reading and applying it. And that's something that I'm really passionate about is breaking down the dogmatic language in some of these systems and making it very practical and digestible. I hope that you find that through my words in the way that I approach the system. So we ended up enrolling in a training. And so I did a human design training. It was one of the ones that you just do online without an instructor. That wasn't as supportive as I needed it to be, but it really was exciting because I was spending my evenings, and this is where I was going through more insomnie, is because I was spending evenings really diving into these charts and getting to know everyone on an energetic level.

[00:11:18.850]

It was just so mind-blowing to me. I ended up announcing it to my friends and family that I'm going to be a human design reader, and I think I posted it on Instagram. It's really cool when you decide that there's something that is in your life that you want and that you're really excited about. I actually shouldn't even say want because at this time, it wasn't that it was something that I wanted. It was just fun. I always felt like I was going to climb the corporate ladder and felt like I had a really good job. I really liked my team. Honestly, where I was in life, I felt really good. Like I said, 2020 was a really good year for me. I felt good. I felt like I wasn't really searching to do this thing, although I did know it was going to take over my life because I did send a text to my partner Xander. I do remember this text. I wish we had a screenshot of it. We've looked, but I sent him a text. I was like, Hey, just so you know that I found this thing and it's going to take over my entire life.

[00:12:17.270]

He's like, All right, whatever. And that's just me. If you know me, I find something that I'm interested in and it just takes over. And specifically, if I really know that I want it, I tend to be pretty determined. I don't want to say forceful because I'm no longer a forceful person, but very determined to get that thing. But it wasn't that I thought that it was going to turn into this full-blown business or really anything at the time. And so it started with me sharing about it on my Instagram, just thinking about a side hustle. I listened to a podcast or read a book about having seven streams of income. That's what most millionaires have. In my mind, I was like, All right, I already I'm doing this corporate job. I'm making pretty good money. And this is my second stream of income. That's what I thought that's what it was going to be. I think it's something that a lot of entrepreneurs experience is that when they're excited about something or when they find this thing, and that's what ended up happening, is that I started to realize this was the thing, that you don't know what to do because your time, time becomes really, really sacred.

[00:13:26.900]

I started doing readings for friends on the evenings. I mean, the outpour of love that I received on my personal Instagram and the text messages and DMs, it was just so special. It was just such a reminder from the universe that this is something that I needed to do. I had friends of mine that reached out saying, We always knew you were so spiritual, and this was, I can't imagine you doing anything else. I mean, that's one of my favorite comments to you. I get that actually quite a bit. People really come out of the woodwork. I had friends or people that I hadn't talked to since my childhood or high school, reach out to me and say sweet notes about things they remembered about me. I actually don't tend to remember my high school experience very much. Another story for another time. That was really special. It just trickled. It was like one reading after another. Then it was someone recommending their sibling, and then their coworker, and then their mom, and then their partner, and then they're pregnant, they're having a baby, and they want to have their babies chart done. It just became apparent that this was becoming its own entity and that I had to follow it.

[00:14:35.350]

What really became apparent in this process, so human design is about living our strategy and authority, which simply means living in alignment. And I'll break down what these things mean. It's such an interesting story because I was really intuitively and I was really living my design in the sense that I was following something that excited me, but I wasn't creating my reality around it in the right way. So this was all in 2020, and I enter into 2021. We made this big move across the country, and I was really excited about the move across the country because I was like, I have no friends out there. Xander, my significant other, he's a nurse. He works long hours, and it'll really be a great chance for me to focus on my business. So I moved from Ohio to California, and I was working Eastern hours. I was waking up at like 4:00 in the morning to work my corporate job, and then I'd get done it, too, and then I would do human design all night. I did not realize what a toll that would take on my mental. I remember feeling like, Oh, my gosh, I just cannot keep up.

[00:15:44.830]

I ended up establishing an LLC just to do the right business things. That's when I really started to realize this was powerful. It's interesting because the more that I was realizing that this is something that I really wanted to do, my work fell apart in a lot of I remember that was one of the most stressful periods of my time at work. I'm doing a lot of reading on the subconscious mind, and now I feel like it's just related because my mind just didn't want to be there. Things just started to seem worse. I remember an argument with a coworker, and just all sorts of things just started to come up. It was like every single little moment was like a nudge from the universe. What is it going to take for you to leave this thing? Or what is it going to take for you to follow your passion? You keep complaining every day, and you keep feeling like you don't have enough time for something that you really love, which was human design. It's really frustrating. I was getting really, really frustrated with myself. Frustration is my not self theme. It's a sign that I'm out of alignment, and every type in human design has their own not self theme or the sign that you're out of alignment, this feeling.

[00:16:52.050]

For me, as a generator, that's frustration. I was becoming incredibly frustrated. Like I said, it was such a weird thing because I was so excited. I felt that satisfaction when I sat down and did Human Design or I finished a reading, but I felt the frustration every minute that I was doing something different, every minute that I was working this job. It was like, I wasn't listening to my gut. My gut is my intuition. It's my authority in Human Design. It's my sacral center. I continued to push it and push it away. I think there's maybe another story for another time in here, but really, I fell into a deep depression. It was weird, honestly. 2021, so just a little over a year ago, I just went out of it. I mean, poor Xander was buying me flowers and bringing ice cream home as I'm crying at my desk and having just a total quarter-to-life crisis. After so long, there was intrusive thoughts. I do want to give a warning. If any of you have suicidal ideation or anything, this might be a little hard for you hear. So please feel free to either be gentle or to definitely escape at this point and come back in a couple of seconds.

[00:18:06.670]

But I just started to feel like I didn't really know what to do with my life and that I felt like if I couldn't If I couldn't have these things that I desired, what was the point of life? That's really sad for me to say because now I realize that life is completely worth living. And that was just really more so my intuition really knocking me over and saying, you're avoiding being who you're meant to be. You are using your mind. You're trying to be so logical all the time. And what I've really learned, the deeper I get in my human design journey is that we are not designed to use our minds to make decisions. We really are super intuitive beings, and we need to really just trust ourselves and put our faith into the universe or God or whatever you believe in. Really just allow that to flow. And the more that we create resistance with our mind and the more that we push the things out that we really desire, in that moment, it was like, okay, my body was really telling me in physical forms, I had to help something health-scare-related showed up for me in 2021.

[00:19:17.980]

So the more that we push those things aside, the worst things get for us. So that's when depression, that's when anxiety comes up. And I've dealt with both of those things in my life now. And if I think back to all of the moments that I felt those things really deeply, it was because there was something else that I was avoiding or that I wasn't intuitively listening to myself. I was saying that I needed to make money. I was saying I needed to be safe. I was saying that this was a smart thing to do. Really, This is something I do a lot with clients of mine is it's not about thinking smart or being smart or fitting in a box. It's more about just intuitively knowing and having that inner guidance that always ends up making us feel better. The more that we can practice that and flex it, the more that the universe really just rewards us. That's really what happened for me. Eventually, it became to the point where I was like, I have to do something about this. It wasn't until I had a reading with a client, and we had a very similar human design.

[00:20:18.520]

I shared that with her. I'm like, My design is very similar to yours. She was so special to me. Christie, if you're listening, love you so much. She asked me, she's like, So how do you tune in to your route? How do you do this? I had one of those moments where it's like, and by the way, I will be cussing on this podcast. I was like, Fuck, I am not leaving my design. I'm not practicing what I preach. Man, that was like a knife to my stomach. I cried. I remember feeling like, Oh, my gosh, I'm so phony. I teach people to do this, and I talk about it constantly, but I'm not even doing this for myself. How good am I really? What does that say about? It was literally a week later, I scheduled a call with my boss at my corporate job, and I just hadn't, Hey. I cried. Luckily, I had such an amazing boss who really knows a lot about spiritual wakenings. And he said, I think you're going through a spiritual awakening. That's what he said to me. I was like, I think I am, too. Anyway, so I ended up being able to do human design on the side.

[00:21:30.330]

I went part-time in my job, just to transition out. I almost wish that I just would have quit, but it's nice because I think that this helped me get into a place where I could prove to myself that it was worth it. It was really great. I ended up being able to really prove to myself through going part-time that this was really my path. Like I said, the universe just rewards us, and it continued to reward me and show me that this was the way. I still had some lessons along the way. Actually, I went part-time, and then shortly after, sorry to my old coworkers listening, I also ended up getting another part-time job and assisting a really prominent coach in Los Angeles and spending a lot of time there, which was a really great learning lesson for me. But it just was another lesson that, why do I keep putting myself into this box where I think that I need to make enough money or I need to have these certain experiences that the world or my community ego is telling me to do versus just listening to actually who I am. And so I ended up leaving both of those things and completely following my journey at the beginning of the spring in March of this year, 2022.

[00:22:45.560]

And man, let me tell you, talking about the universe rewarding you, I ended up having a really spectacular experience where the day that I quit my corporate job, I sold 30 readings. 30 readings. My last day at my corporate job and assisting this coach, 30 readings I sold. Can you believe that? Tell me that there isn't a more sure sign from the universe than that. And it really has been the most serendipitous ride. I'm not going to say it's always easy being an entrepreneur. And the purpose of this podcast isn't really entrepreneurship at all. It just weaves into so much of my human design story that I want to talk about it because that's where I am right now. That's what's going through me. And so that is what's been my journey in a very quick Snapchat, and it's been absolutely incredible. I have, to date, now worked with thousands of people in one-on-one sessions. I have read over 2,300 charts. I have led events. I've led retreats. I've been able to launch really cool products. I've mentored people becoming human design readers. And I should have mentioned through there, too. I mean, I've spent so much time learning the system.

[00:24:05.620]

I've taken several courses. I'm even in another course right now. While I'm teaching other people, I just love human design. It's such my purpose and my passion that it's really been something that I just enjoy. It's just fun. I have a blast with it. So I wanted to spend some time now talking about my design because I want to talk about the way that my human design has weaved into my story throughout this process. And it really does. They say it takes seven years of living your design to fully decondition. Deconditioning is essentially, I talked about the mind and how our mind really controls a lot of society. And we're really conditioned by society and the world to, like I said, think smart or do the right thing, go to the college or follow the path. And It's such a lack mindset that's surrounded around that. It's such a scarcity mindset as well that we have to do certain things to be successful. We're all intuitive beings. Deconditioning is really around How can we shed all of those layers that society told us to be, that our parents told us to be? No offense to my mom and dad if you're listening.

[00:25:25.400]

And all of just the things that we're told are the right things to do. How can we decondition from that, specifically in our human design charts and our open centers? And it can happen in really any part of our design, but we're more susceptible in these open places. Where are we picking up on energy from other people? Where do we need to empty out? And so I say it takes seven years, and I am now heading into my third year of living my design, and it is pretty spectacular just what has happened so far, and I can't wait for that to unfold. And so I want everyone else to get on this journey, too, if they're willing and if it feels like it's calling to them. And so getting into my chart, I want to talk about so many things. My chart is on my Instagram in my highlight that says About Me. It's also on my website, on my About Me page. I am a 5'1 sacral or pure generator. I have the channel 2 to 14, which I call the vision channel, but it's also formerly called the beat. I have the transmitter channel, which is the 26 to 44, which I like to call the marketing channel.

[00:26:40.740]

And then I have the channel of mutation, the 60 to 3. So lots of really strong energy there. And my conscious sungate is in 1.5. I am a split, if you can think through the I'm Split Definition. I am also the incarnation cross. My life theme, my purpose, is the left angle cross of Defiance, and that explains it. So let me just talk through parts of my design. I am going to start with just my energy type, and I'm a generator, and that just means I'm a life force. And due to human design, that is the first thing. It's like your zodiac sign, but it's very different. But there's five energy types, and I'm a generator. It's the most common type. I was actually really bummed when I first learned that I was a generator because I mentioned I always felt different. I was like, Oh, I'm the same as everyone else. Now I know I mean, there's so many nuances, but me being a generator, it makes a lot of sense. Like I said, sometimes I don't sleep because I'm so excited. When I am generating, I am buzzing through the world. I truly do do sparkle when I'm lit up by things, and I really do need to follow what satisfies me in my day.

[00:28:07.270]

When I am committed to things that didn't excite me, when I said yes to things that I didn't want to do, I am so exhausted and so drained, and my energy is so depleted. And so when I learned that, that was a massive game changer because I felt really exhausted and depleted a lot. And so it's been interesting the amount of energy I seem to produce when I've now changed that to doing things that I really love. It just seems to now flow freeingly out of me. And I'm really life force. I'm a natural doer. I'm really skilled at bringing ideas to life, and I am really just satisfied in following my joy. So the next thing is that I am a sacral authority, so that's what makes me a pure generator. And that just means that I have a strong gut feeling. And this was no surprise to me. I feel like I've always I had a strong gut, but it's been a big learning curve for me understanding that I was a sacral in that I had to just trust that feeling. Like I said, I was so conditioned to use my mind constantly.

[00:29:14.330]

It's been such a game changer, like I mentioned, learning about my subconscious mind. Since I was so conditioned, it's been a lot of practice leaning into this area. And so how I operate is that as a generator, I'm really meant to respond to this feeling. So if someone brings If there's a decision to me or if there's a situation, even if it's just me deciding something, for example, this podcast, it's like when I was deciding to do this, to launch this, it was just so exciting to me. My gut was light. I didn't even have to think about it. I didn't have to analyze anything. It just felt right. When I know that something is a no is because I instantly start going to my mind. I start analyzing it. I start thinking. I start trying to be smart about something. That's when I always know something's just it's a no for me. If it's not free flowing a yes, then it's just completely a no. If it's not a hell yes, it's a hell no. And so that has been a very big learning in my sacral area is understanding, okay, the more that I tune into this, the more that I understand this cue, the more that I can live my design.

[00:30:19.640]

The next part of my design is the fact that I have split definition, which is very common, but it just means that I'm designed to connect with other people, and I enjoy working in collaboration and in partnerships. If you know me, I just love to be supported by others, and I love to be in my zone of genius, and I love to help other people be in their zone of genius. That's very much me. Then my profile, the five one, this is really where I felt super seen in human design. I always think that in a reading, it's like, okay, I think the energy type is important, but I'm like, let's get to your profile. I want to see your profile lines. I just get so juiced up over it. So my profile in human design is a challenge solver. And this one just felt so true for me. It's because I'm really able to see possibilities everywhere, and I want to help others. The five line is the hero. It's the savior. It's the heretic. And so I am someone that people naturally see me as someone that can help them, that can save them.

[00:31:20.840]

It's a really positive aspect to have, specifically for the work that I do, but it also can be a very challenging one because I have to make sure I have very strong boundaries. And I do feel like this has been a big learning because a lot of people have taken advantage of my willingness to help throughout my life. It's been really interesting understanding that I have this natural projection as someone that people see that can help them get somewhere or that can help them solve a problem. It's been really interesting just knowing this because it's allowed me to set stronger boundaries. It's allowed me to understand where I am falling short and not listening to my gut. And then this one line in me, the one is the investigator. So this is the second part of my profile. And this is just like the Googler, as I like to say. And oh, my gosh. I mean, I can think back to being a kid and my mom joking about how I always do random statistics. I would read magazines and before the Internet was really as extensive as it is now, I would just know little facts here and there.

[00:32:26.400]

And I always just like to dig into things. I've always been a researcher and an investigator. When I first learned that, it was interesting because in college, I was never the brainiac and even in high school. But I think what it was is because I have to be really interested in whatever the subject is for me to go really deep. Human I'm fine, for example. I've gotten so deep in human design because I'm just purely interested in it, simply, purely, and just wholeheartedly. The more that I investigate things that excite me, the more whatever fun I have. So just being a 5'1 is about people see me as someone who does investigate things, who has done their research, and they see me as someone who can help them because of the research that I've done. And it's a beautiful way to live, and it's a beautiful thing that people see me as that, but also I have to set really strong boundaries because people can also place expectations on me. In the channels that I have, man, my Mutation channel is probably one of my most prominent channels. The channel Mutation brings about a lot of innovation, but it comes in waves, it ebbs and flows, it pulsates.

[00:33:33.850]

A lot of what happens here is I go through a lot of newness and inspiration, and then sometimes I go through a lot of more inward and melancholic periods. This has just been a constant in my life of just feeling like the shiny brightest star, but then going in a cocoon. I always say it's like a butterfly in this channel. Then sometimes I feel like I'm in a cocoon and I'm transforming, I'm mutating, and then I emerge and I'm a butterfly again. It just ebbs and flows for me. And this is a format channel and really has a strong, just energetic force within my entire design. So I feel into this one a lot. The next channel I have is marketing, the 44 to the 26. This, formally, this is a transmitter channel. And this means that I have just an innate gift for working with people and powerfully marketing things. I have an instinct for what people need and how I can provide value. There's a lot of salesperson energy that comes through this channel. When I used to work in my corporate job, I was interested in sales for a while, and I remember someone I worked with said that I was made for sales, which is funny because I never felt like that fully.

[00:34:41.680]

I just knew that I was... I knew it wouldn't be bad if I got involved. But I never ended up pursuing that route. But honestly, it's a one-man show over here, one-woman show, I should say. I have to sell everything I do. I have to sell myself. So maybe it's working because my business seems to be doing okay. The next channel I have is the 2 to 14, which actually goes right above that 60 to 3, which I always thought was really cool. This is the Vision channel. This is where, and it's also called the Beat. It gives me this ability to show the world a new way and to bring projects and people and communities together. I empower people to follow their intuition. I mean, what have I been talking about this entire episode? That's one of my strongest channels. It's just because I have a strong way of seeing visions things. The most groundbreaking, revolutionary part of my design is my conscious sun. It's in the gate of creativity. It's in gate one, 1.5. And gate one is the gate of creativity, innate natural creativity that's just inside of you. And it just means that that's my greatest gift.

[00:35:48.540]

It's healthy for me to be creative without a fixed agenda. It's really important that I am authentic and I create and just whatever emerges out of me. And Instagram tends to be a medium for me with this. My Pinterest tends to be a medium. Honestly, if you look at the notes in my office, that's also probably a medium for me for this. But it's just to empower others to just be themselves authentically and inspire through my creativity. I just randomly go in spurts and share a bunch of things about what I'm doing. I used to have a food gram for a year or so, and it was called Moon Girls Play. You can look it up. It's still there. That was this conscious sun coming was just needing to be creative and doing it in my own authentic way. They are extremely important for me to follow, and I'm drawn to innovation. I'm drawn to different ways of doing things, concepts, people, projects. It's interesting. I should do an episode It's interesting. I should do an episode on my strengths finder and my enneagram and how these all relate because innovation is one of my strengths finder strengths, I believe.

[00:36:57.190]

And so it's just interesting how they all tie together. And just going through my centers really quickly. So we'll start at the top. I have an undefined head, which means that sometimes I feel pressure to find inspiration. I mentioned I'm a big Pinterest freak, and it just means I'm open to new insights and ideas, and I'm very much inspired by the world around me. I have an undefined mind, and that just means I'm incredibly open-minded and I'm able to see all sides to an issue, sometimes to a fault, but I am extremely open-minded. So I actually take a lot of pride in that. I'm very uncomfortable not knowing the answer, which is also even expressed more in my one line in my profile, being the investigator. I really don't like when I don't know something. From an undefined throat, I'm comfortable listening, but sometimes I want to use my voice to make a good impression. I keep laughing about this podcast coming from my undefined throat because I will probably share a lot and won't do it in a very filtered way. And that's what I wanted. That's what I needed. I was craving it.

[00:38:02.300]

I have a defined heart. I'm wise about how to use my willpower, and I have a very healthy self-esteem. I have a defined heart. I'm wise about how to use my willpower, and I have a very strong self-esteem. My defined spleen, it's about analyzing decisions, tuning into instincts, which has been a learning for me, but also something that I feel like I don't need to overanalyze. My defined sacral, that's just me being a generator. That's my gut feeling. I mentioned it. That's just where I use my energy. My undefined emotions, I'm super empathetic. If you look at my chart, I have so many gates out of my solar plexus that, man, when I'm around someone who has a defined solar plexus, I feel it. I feel it so hard. I am very deeply emotional, but almost not from me. It's usually from other people, which is something that was always interesting because I always felt like I was so emotional. It's an interesting nuance in human design that non-emotionals are more emotional in practice, but they just tend to pick up on emotions, and they just don't know what to do with them. And that's me.

[00:39:06.930]

Sometimes I pick up on emotions, and I don't know what to do with it. So I'm just a mess. I'm crying. I'm watching a Facebook video of a dog being saved from something, or I'm watching a sports team win a championship game, and I'm sobbing. I'm always crying. So I'm just feeling other people's emotions. And my defined route, finally, I am grounded I'm full of ambition and drive, also full of a lot of stress, too. So learning how to lean into all of the defined... Honestly, every aspect in human design has a positive and a negative, a high expression or low expression. And so I've been learning a lot about how to tune to those different pieces. And then finally, but certainly not least, is my incarnation cross, which bleeds into my conscious sun. It's the left angle cross of defiance. I meant to defy the odds, go against the status quo. I've got a lot of creativity. I'm meant to do things differently, show people a different way of doing things. I'm someone who is looking for answers and loving to find solutions to things. I love to be grounded in my visions, and I love to find people who have similar values.

[00:40:18.780]

Something that I strongly desire is to work for the highest good of people on the planet. I do have a very strong attunement to animals through the 49 that comes up in my incarnation. Cross of defiance. That is just a little bit about my chart for those of you new to human design. I hope that that gives you some insight into how I operate. I am not going to continue talking because I have so many things to say, and there's so many episodes that I will be pumping out over the next, I don't know, we'll see how long or where this takes me. But again, so happy you're here. So happy that you're allowing me to share my voice, and you want to listen, and you're here to support me and learn your design. We're going to have a lot of fun. You're going to learn a lot. I'm probably going to learn a lot, too, just through talking out loud and sharing about the human design system. The one thing that I want you to know is that I will be doing many readings. So please, my love, go over to my website and go to...

[00:41:28.670]

There is a page for my podcast. You will see it on my website. And there is a submission form for you to submit a screenshot of your chart with a question that you have or something that you're dealing with in your life. I would love to use your design to help you through a problem or something that you're going through. And I cannot wait to get to know everyone that's listening. And again, all my love, all my gratitude. This has been so fun just explaining. This has been so fun explaining my design in a longer form way, and I hope to see you at the next episode. All right, bye-bye.

WHAT HUMAN DESIGN IS AND IS NOT
